At Cognitive Group we are really passionate about opportunity. We rarely introduce prospective employees to our clients for a hike in salary, it is usually due to an exciting opportunity. For most of us the basic opportunities are something that we take for granted. There are many under privileged children in the UK who do not have these basic opportunities. Chance UK is a charity that provide Children with greater opportunity in life and Cognitive are proud to be closely linked with this amazing organisation.

Chance UK do this by providing one-to-one mentoring for children aged 5-11 with behavioural difficulties. Chance's volunteer mentors raise children's self esteem via activities such as sports, visiting museums, making scrapbooks...anything the child may be interested in.

Many of the children that Chance work with are on the verge of being permanently excluded from school. This is frequently the start point for anti-social and later criminal behaviour in a young person's life, so Chance intervene early to prevent this. No other organisation does the work that Chance do in the way that they do it with the age group they do it with.
