​Cognitive Group is seeking an interim Azure Architect for a 5 month contract (with a view to extend long term afterwards) to start in January.

Hybrid, predominantly remote role with occasional site visits for critical milestones and meetings etc.

Key responsibilities

• Develop suitable solutions for migrating into the customers' cloud environment.

• Utilising the CAF bespoke to the customer

• Architecting Azure Infrastructure

• Deep understanding in Azure: networking, Azure Firewalls, load balancers, express route, Site-to-Site VPNs.

• Strong knowledge of IaC & DevOps

• Build database Servers with in depth knowledge of supporting storage, IOPS and BCDR

• Produce reports, white papers etc.

• Essential to have previously worked in a role consulting with external clients on project needs.

• Experience working with Microsoft Azure is essential

• Experience with enterprise networks and landing zones is essential
