I’m looking for a Azure Data Engineer to join the team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Data Engineer, with experience in consulting and customer-facing roles to join a data-centric organisation.
Experience:
- Ideally 5 + years in MS Data and Analytics
- Commercial experience in the implementation of Power BI
- Commercial experience in the Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake storage Azure Synapse Databricks Azure SQL etc)
- A strong pedigree in SQL ideally across the full stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
- Ability to model and transform data build ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context
- Experience developing data warehouses & data marts using the Kimball methodology
- Experience with SQL and ETL/ELT processes.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Passion for leveraging Azure data technologies to drive business value.
- Design and implement end-to-end data solutions leveraging Azure services including Azure Databricks Azure Synapse and Azure Data Factory.
- Develop and maintain data models adhering to best practices ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Build and automate data pipelines utilizing Azure Data Factory Azure Databricks and other relevant tool
- Expert with SQL and Azure Data Engineering
- Hands-on experience in designing and developing scripts for custom ETL processes and automation in Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse, Python, Pyspark etc.
