Head of Professional Services / Managing Director / UK Microsoft Consulting Lead
£250,000 - £280,000 base + circa £100k annual bonus + benefits
Have you lead a consulting practice within one of the big 4 or do you currently run an ERP/CRM consulting division for one of the global system integrators in the UK? Are you tired of the bureaucracy and endless layers of management to work through before decisions can be made? Have you perhaps considered utilising your experience and leadership skills in a more entrepreneurial role?
If so, then this position might be for you. Our client, a giant yet agile consulting organisation, is looking for an experienced consulting leader who has an entrepreneurial energy and manner about them, who is willing and able to take full budgetary and strategic ownership of their Microsoft consulting practice in the UK, lead the country execution plans across marketing, sales, pre-sales, delivery and the Microsoft vendor relationship.
Unlike many other organisations, our client does not have legacy operations in uncomplimentary verticals that often complicate decision making or hold back the pace of growth. Instead, they are leaders in cutting edge tech consulting and business change, offering solutions for CRM, ERP, Analytics, BI and Cloud into professional services, manufacturing, retail and government customers. Their European, Asian and US operations are mature yet growing rapidly, and they have already allocated significant investment to expand their reach within the UK, as part of a major European growth plan.
This is an opportunity to shape and grow the operation in the UK whilst still in its early stages, but with the depth of resources, incredible capacity and full backing of a global business that would involve you potentially acquiring a Microsoft partner in the UK. This combination of both timing and investment is fairly unique within the tech consulting space.

Desire to be empowered, autonomous; own and grow the UK Microsoft business with national and international clients.
Form part of a 4 person UK leadership team - reporting directly in the exec board - where decision making is swift and empowered.
Previous experience of leading and growing Sales and Delivery teams within ERP/CRM (Oracle, SAP, SalesForce or Microsoft) and BI/Cloud (AWS, Google, Azure) would be most desirable.
Experience of leading 30 - 100 person practices
