The Role:
My client is able to hire for people with skills across the full range of Microsoft Data capabilities; from Power BI through to the full Azure Data Platform stack. You might be a reporting specialist or a full-fledged data engineer - if you bring these skills alongside a tangible pedigree in consulting and client-facing roles then they will be interested in you!
You will be working with customers across a variety of industry sectors, often hand-picked to most appropriately compliment your experience. This means you will be able to rapidly build your credentials implementing Data Solutions for customers with a wide variety of journeys to undertake.

What we are looking for in a Lead Consultant:
Ideally 5 + years in MS Data and Analytics
Ideally experienced working in a consulting environment. We also will consider candidates working in internal positions in a client-facing capacity.
Experience in leading teams and/or workstreams in these engagements.
Commercial experience in the implementation of Power BI
Commercial experience in the Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake storage, Azure Synapse, Databricks, Azure SQL etc)
A strong pedigree in SQL ideally across the full stack (SSIS/SSRS/SSAS)
Ability to model and transform data, build ETL solutions and present data in a useful business context
Experience developing data warehouses & data marts using the Kimball methodology
Experience or awareness of Big Data and Data Science related technologies, such as R or Azure Machine Learning, to design and implement predictive analytics models
