We're partnered with a Microsoft Consultancy who are specialists in all things data - delivering digital services across Azure, Data Engineering, Data Science, IoT and Machine Learning.
As a Microsoft Azure Data Governance Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping clients manage and secure their data assets within the Azure platform. You will work closely with clients to design and implement data governance frameworks, ensuring compliance, data quality, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their data governance needs and objectives.
Design and implement data governance solutions using Microsoft Azure services and tools.
Develop and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures.
Monitor data quality, data lineage, and data access controls.
Provide expertise in data classification, encryption, and access control mechanisms.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data governance aligns with business goals.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data governance and Azure services.
You must have previous experience in the following:
Proven experience in implementing data governance solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.
Strong knowledge of Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL Database, Azure Databricks, and Azure Security Center.
Background in Design/Architecture of Azure Data solutions
Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data cataloging, and metadata management.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Relevant certifications in Microsoft Azure are a plus.
